A Day In The Life Rev up your engines for the role of Security Analyst at Monster Energy! You'll be the ultimate guardian of our infrastructure, tackling vulnerability management like a pro. Dive into routine scans, spot and squash vulnerabilities, and keep everything running smooth and secure. You'll be in the driver's seat, monitoring top-tier security tools like MS Defender, Red Canary, and BlueVoyant. Respond to tickets and power through any threats that come our way, ensuring Monster Energy stays at the top of its game!
The Impact You'll Make - IT cyber security awareness analysis, training, and maintenance using tools such as HoxHunt.
- Participate in Vulnerability Response Management using ServiceNow, MS Defender, Tenable.io.
- Participate in Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) actionable events and fine tuning alerts from 3rd party monitoring such as Red Canary and Blue Voyant.
- Maintain and action user domain name system (DNS) allowance and web access requests using Cisco Umbrella, MS Defender.
- Action on events and alerts triggered by Azure Entra ID anomalies.
- Work with the team and with 3rd parties to update and maintain rules associated with securing endpoints and identities.
- Ensure up-to-date documentation surrounding cyber security awareness, training, security events, incidents and all reported issues.
Who You Are - Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- IT Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in security tools, firewalls, intrusion detection systems or data encryption technologies
- Additional Experience Desired: Minimum 1 year of experience in industry standards such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST)
- Computer Skills Desired: MS Windows 11, MS Office suite to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Preferred Certifications: N/A
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: N/A
Monster Energy provides a competitive total compensation. This position has an estimated annual salary of $68,640 - $86,000 per hour. The actual pay may vary depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
