Description Our creative team plays a vital role in supporting HydroPeptide’s mission by visually bringing our brand to life across digital platforms. As the Jr. Graphic Designer/Social Media Temp, the primary function of this role is to assist in creating compelling visual content, including social media templates, presentation decks, and marketing assets for third-party platforms, all aimed at elevating brand presence and engagement. Success in this role requires creativity, strong attention to detail, and the ability to take initiative and adapt to feedback. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on design experience within a dynamic, mission-driven beauty brand, with the potential to extend beyond the summer.

- Type of Role: Part-Time, temporary (6 month project) with potential for extension
- Your Hours: 15–20 hours/week, flexible scheduling within Pacific Time business hours
- Physical Demands: Prolonged sitting and use of a computer for design work
- Travel Expectations: None
Your Responsibilities As The Jr. Graphic Designer/Social Media Temp - Design and build branded social media templates aligned with HydroPeptide’s visual identity
- Create and format visually engaging presentation decks for internal and external use
- Develop marketing assets for third-party platforms, ensuring consistency and brand integrity
- Assist with social media tasks, including scheduling, posting, calendar curation, content creation, and copywriting
- Support the creative and marketing teams with layout design, image editing, and digital content formatting
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales teams to fulfill design and content needs
- Trend research: Ability to stay up-to-date with social media trends, and researching current trends to include in our content and design
- Other duties as assigned, with room for growth as the role evolves
Requirements Skills You Bring to the Table: - Minimum 1 year of experience in graphic design, either through coursework or internships
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, creative environment
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); experience with Canva, or social media management tools (e.g., Later, Hootsuite) is a plus
- Knowledge in Social Media Platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, YouTube), experience with content creation and video editing software (e.g., CapCut, PremierePro) is a plus
- Strong skills in visual storytelling, layout, typography, and content writing
- Excellent communication and time-management abilities
- A collaborative mindset and ability to accept and apply constructive feedback
- A proactive and creative approach to problem-solving and continuous learning
What Could Set You Apart - Completion of a design or digital marketing certificate or coursework in visual communications, digital media, or social media marketing
- Background or interest in the skincare, beauty, or wellness industry
- Experience with social media metrics and performance tracking tools
- A genuine passion for helping brands visually and verbally express their story and values
