Junior Content Designer – &pizza Brand (part-time)
&pizza is seeking an f&m member with technical expertise and a desire to share the &pizza brand story through persuasive visual communication, approximately 10–20 hours per week (hours may vary and could increase over time). This role may supplement or replace your current &pizza position.
THE JOB:
The part-time Graphic Designer / Junior Content Designer at &pizza is responsible for developing visual communication assets for marketing channels including social media, in-store, digital advertising, email, internal communications, franchise development, and more.
// Develop, manage, and organize content for digital & social platforms—including graphics, stories, reels, interactive assets, videos, emails, advertisements, and email hero images .
// Design and produce POP materials , including in-shop signage, menu updates, local marketing pieces, and other community-driven print assets.
// Fulfill local design requests (flyers, posters, menus, event materials) to support individual shops and community engagement initiatives.
// Create digital media assets for campaigns across paid + organic channels (ads, banners, social visuals, etc.).
// Edit short-form social media videos (Reels, TikTok, Shorts) and support the creation of ongoing content series.
// Manage fast-paced workloads and complete certain creative requests within 24 hours when needed.
// Capture secondary content at photoshoots/events—behind-the-scenes video, stills, detail shots, and additional footage for ongoing use.
// Support quick-turn social content creation for trend-based, culture-driven, and in-the-moment opportunities.
// Partner with internal teams and third-party vendors on all graphic design, photography, and videography projects.
// Collaborate with external marketing agencies to align digital and social media activities with brand and campaign goals.
// Assist with website design elements and other customer- or employee-facing visual updates.
// Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all channels.
// Compile & organize social media mentions , UGC, and influencer content for internal use and planning.
// Provide copywriting support for social posts, email headers, POP headlines, and short-form brand messaging.
// Collect and analyze performance data to generate insights and recommendations.
// Complete additional duties as assigned.
THE MUST HAVES:
// 1–2 years of experience in graphic design, content creation, or a related field (internships welcomed).
// Skilled with Photoshop, Illustrator, Express, and basic video editing software to create high-performing visual content.
// Strong understanding of content creation tools within TikTok and Instagram.
// Ability to interpret creative briefs and transform requirements into effective design solutions.
// Strong organizational and project management abilities, especially on multi-project workflows.
// Excellent written + verbal communication skills.
// Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
// Attention to detail paired with a fresh, creative POV.
// Experience collaborating with third parties (agencies, consultants, production partners).
// Experience working independently and in partnership with in-shop and remote teams.
// Reliable transportation for occasional in-person sessions in the Washington, D.C. area.
