Responsibilities:

The Lab Assistant will assist any non-technical duties including specimen processing, accessioning, answer phones, faxing of reports, billing, shipping and receiving, decontamination, and maintenance. As a Lab Assistant you will:

Handle and process specimens according to the lab’s reporting procedures
Document all corrective actions taken when specimen processing systems deviate from the lab’s established performance specifications
Adhere to lab’s quality management policies through documenting all quality management activities
Understand and be supportive of philosophy, purpose, and policies of HarmonyCares Medical Group
