Job Title : Lab Technician
Location : Rocky Hill, CT 
Work schedule: Mon- Fri 8am- 5pm
Type: Contract

Responsibilities :

• This role is on a high impact team that is leading advance water filtration innovations, very rewarding experience knowing the potential impact to alleviate the water shortage issues being experience globally.
• Under the supervision of a Senior Engineering Manager, the Technician will be expected to perform the following functions with a high level of initiative and independence:
• Handling the printed membrane and testing/monitoring print quality.
• Tests performance characteristics of printed membrane samples
• Evaluate, collect and record data.
• Participates in organizing and performing experiments using established procedures while summarizing and reporting results in a laboratory notebook.
• Uses a computer to enter data/information including charts and tables for communication of project results/details.

Requirements : :

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in a technical field
• 1-3 year of demonstrated laboratory experience
• Computer literate in Microsoft Office products - word, excel and powerpoint.
• Ability to understand and follow experimental protocols for preservation of data.
• Capable of using common tools (ie torque wrenches) 
• Attention to detail and taking pride in their work
• Comfortable and able to work with chemicals while following safe laboratory practices/protocols.
• The ability to stand while working in the laboratory throughout most of the day.
