St Clare of Assisi Catholic Church a Catholic school rooted in faith and academic excellence, seeks a mission-driven and organized Librarian to manage the school library and promote literacy, research skills, and a love for reading.
Manage and maintain the school library, including circulation, cataloging, and organization of materials
Foster a love of reading through book displays, reading programs, and classroom collaboration
Teach age-appropriate library skills, research techniques, digital literacy, and ethical information use
Support students in selecting appropriate reading and research materials
Collaborate with teachers to integrate library resources into curriculum and faith-based instruction
Promote Catholic values through literature selections and student interactions
Oversee library technology and provide support for student and faculty use
Maintain inventory, order new materials, and manage library budget
Uphold school and diocesan policies, including child safety protocols
School library or classroom teaching experience preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Familiarity with library systems (e.g., Follett Destiny) and digital research tools
