Apogee Solutions, a Woman-Owned Small Business, is seeking a Logistics Manager to support The U.S. Army Operational Test Command (OTC) at Fort Hood, TX. Qualified candidates must have an active Department of Defense Top Secret clearance.

The Logistics Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for all property management, to include acquisition, receiving, inventory, life cycle replacement, and utilization. OTC is responsible for planning, conducting, and reporting on independent operational tests, experiments, and assessments of Army material and information area systems to better inform acquisition and fielding decisions of multi-service Warfighting systems.

The Logistics Manager will:

• Oversee the maintenance of Government Furnished Property (GFP) to include the establishment and maintenance of a Property Management System.
• Manage the tagging, labeling, and marking of all GFP.
• Establish management control measures to prevent the loss of GFP and appropriately report any loss GFP.
• Facilitate a joint inventory of all GFP with the Government to include inspection of equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
• Conduct an annual inventory of all GFP and quarterly inventories as requested by the Government.
• Receive inventory considered to be sensitive in nature or unclassified Controlled Cryptographic Item (CCI) and ensure receipt, storage, and shipment is compliant with all relevant policies.
• Review required monthly logistics reports, to include the Inventory Management List.
• Oversee all preventative maintenance on all property assigned to the contract and submit monthly Maintenance Management Plans.
• Dispatch and maintain all required equipment for base operations support and field locations during pre-test, test, and post-test mission requirements, both CONUS and OCONUS.
• Support maintenance and motor pool operations for automotive items at Fort Hood and Fort Bliss, TX.

Required Experience:

• Active DOD Top Secret Clearance
• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
• At least 10 years’ experience in logistics operations management
• Working knowledge of a variety of automated systems to include Global Combat Support Systems – Army (GCSS-Army)
