Overview: Ilderton Dodge Chrysler Jeep RAM in High Point, North Carolina is seeking a highly motivated Automotive Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, the Automotive Technician will be responsible for servicing and repairing vehicles with efficiency and accuracy. This is a full-time, hourly technician position in the fast-paced and exciting auto industry. Benefits include:

Responsibilities:

• Drain and replace engine oil according to manufacture's specification.
• Replace oil filters, check and top off other essential fluids.
• Conduct multi-point inspection according to company standards, document and communicate findings to service advisor.
• Inspect and replace air filters, cabin air filters and fuel filters.
• Ensure proper disposal of all fluids following company disposal procedure.
• Promptly communicate any problems or concerns to shop foreman and service advisor.
• Follow safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

• 1 year minimum automotive technician experience.
• Basic knowledge of auto components.
• Maintain a positive, customer-focused attitude.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Requires, bending, reaching and lifting equipment weighing up to 50lbs.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
