Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Provide training and resources to employees on safety protocols and best practices.
• Collaborate with management to create a safety-first culture and promote employee engagement in safety initiatives.
• Investigate accidents and incidents, documenting findings and implementing preventive measures.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure ongoing compliance.
• Prepare and present safety reports to management and regulatory agencies as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees.
• Proven ability to analyze data and make informed decisions regarding safety practices.
• Certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist) are a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
