Job Title: Medical Assistant (MA)

Location: Denton, Flower Mound, Plano, and Wichita Falls, TX

Industry: Healthcare – Orthopedic/Spine Practice

Pay: $18 – $22 / hour (based on experience; certification preferred for conversion)

Job Description:

Addison Group is hiring two Medical Assistants to support our client’s clinical operations. These contract roles offer the potential for long-term placement and are ideal for candidates who are adaptable, team-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Room patients and collect medical history
• Enter patient demographics and clinical data into ECW (eClinicalWorks)
• Coordinate prescriptions with pharmacies and respond to patient calls
• Scan and index documents into EMR
• May assist with COVID screening (form review only)
• Travel MA will accompany the clinical team to Wichita Falls weekly (Wednesdays) and be paid for travel time

Locations & Schedule:

MA #1 – Denton & Flower Mound

• Rotating weekly schedule: 3 days in Denton, 2 days in Flower Mound, then vice versa
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (30-minute lunch)

MA #2 – Plano & Wichita Falls Travel

• Based in Plano, travels with clinical team to Wichita Falls every Wednesday
• Travel day starts early and ends around 6–7 PM
• Transportation provided by the practice
• Address: Plano office (meet-up location for travel)
• Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Wednesday travel included)

Qualifications:

• Denton/Flower Mound MA: 1+ year of experience
• Plano/Wichita Falls MA: 2+ years of experience
• Certification preferred (required for conversion)
• Experience in orthopedics or spine care is a plus
• Bilingual candidates strongly preferred
• Must be proactive, adaptable, and work well in a collaborative environment
