Porch Light Health is a respected leader in the outpatient treatment of Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) and Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD) and other addictive disorders. Our team believes that addiction is a chronic, relapsing brain disease, and we are passionate about helping individuals navigate their recovery journey. We provide Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and behavioral health services, helping patients discover their purpose and build a healthy community. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our growing team in a fast-paced, dynamic medical setting.
Responsibilities and Duties
Booking and Rescheduling patients
Managing prior authorizations and patient communication
Patient Vitals
Injections
Work as an insurance liaison
Communicate with providers on a respectful and professional level
Administrative work
Managing and operating clinic including but not limited to cleaning, managing paperwork and data
Opening and closing facility
Guiding patients through new paperwork and contracts and medical protocols
Qualifications And Skills
Proficient in Google Suite
Be willing to understand and navigate multiple patient medical record platforms
Certified Medical Assistant
Reliable transportation and willing to travel to multiple rural locations within the area
Active Driver's License
Proper time management

Education
High school or equivalent
Medical Assistant Certification
