Job Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Goodyear, AZ
Duration: 3 weeks (with possibility of extension)
Pay Rate: $24/hr
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Medical Assistant to support both front and back-office functions in a fast-paced clinical setting. The ideal candidate will bring recent hands-on experience with phlebotomy and a solid understanding of medical office procedures.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform patient check-in and check-out, including insurance verification and co-pay collection.
Assist with scheduling, documentation, and EMR data entry.
Conduct vital signs, EKGs, and basic clinical procedures.
Perform blood draws and handle specimens according to protocols.
Support providers with in-office procedures and examinations.
Maintain exam room cleanliness and equipment organization.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and OSHA standards.
Handle incoming calls, messages, and patient follow-ups.
Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred.
Strong front and back-office experience.
Excellent phlebotomy skills (must have performed blood draws within the past 12 months).
Familiarity with EMR systems.
