**Job Title: MIG/Stick Welder** **Pay: $21/hr ($22/hr once brought on direct)** **Hours: 6am to 3pm M-F** **Location: South Chandler (Near Sun Lakes)** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled MIG/Stick Welder who can expertly read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols for steel welding tasks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in both MIG and Stick welding, and must pass a basic MIG flat welding test. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols to perform MIG and Stick welding on steel. + Set up welding machines accurately after they are zeroed out. + Conduct welding on steel materials ranging from 20 gauge to 5/8 inch. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in MIG and Stick welding. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols. + Capable of reading a tape measure accurately. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Entry-level candidates with schooling are welcome. **Why Work Here?** This position offers the opportunity to earn $22/hour upon direct hire and the chance to cross-train into other departments, allowing you to learn multiple trades. **Work Environment** Join a leading manufacturer of pavement preservation products and equipment.
