About this Role:
The Integrated Systems of Care Division (ISCD) Care Management Unit (CMU) A is seeking a Nurse Evaluator (NE) II to perform complex and sensitive work to ensure the success of the program. The NE II will report to the Units Nurse Evaluator II and will be responsible for various Home & Community-Based Services (HCBS) program responsibilities, such as reviewing enrollment applications to determine program eligibility and medical necessity, adjudicating service requests, updating case management systems, and providing technical assistance to stakeholders. The NE II must establish and maintain a working knowledge of the HCBS programs and policies, as well as be able to communicate with stakeholders. The work performed is essential for the Californians we serve, so join us to make a difference.
T his position is subject to the Department's Conflict of Interest Code and filing a Statement of Economic Interests (Form 700) when assuming office, annually while in office, and upon leaving office.

This position may be eligible for telework up to five days a week, contingent on operational business needs.
