Casper Mountain Rehabilitation and Care Center is offering an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Occupational Therapist to join our in-house rehabilitation team in Casper, Wyoming . Position Overview
As an Occupational Therapist (OT), you will evaluate, plan, and implement treatment for residents using evidence-based approaches to improve independence and quality of life. You’ll also play a key role in patient and family education, interdisciplinary collaboration, and documentation of care.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate residents to determine functional impairments and therapy needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on ADLs and IADLs
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment as needed, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team
Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications to promote safety and independence
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on techniques and strategies to support functional recovery
Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines
Attend required meetings and actively participate in care planning
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and facility policies
Qualifications
Active Wyoming Occupational Therapist license
In good standing with all relevant licensing boards and agencies
Experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or long-term care preferred
Familiarity with Net Health documentation system is a plus
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse patient populations
