Order Picker/Packer
Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73179
Pay Rate: $15.00/hr
Shift: 1st Shift – 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM (mandatory overtime possible)
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire

Job Summary:

Join our dynamic team as an Order Picker/Packer at a local distribution center. This position is perfect for dependable, hardworking individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment. As an Order Picker/Packer , you will play a key role in accurately packaging merchandise for shipment, ensuring all items meet company quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Pack merchandise into boxes or containers for shipment to retail locations.
Verify item numbers, quantities, and packing labels for accuracy.
Inspect merchandise for damage or quality issues.
Use RF scanners or other tracking systems when applicable.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Meet established productivity and accuracy goals.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily department goals.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum 1 year experience (3 years preferred).
Physical Ability: Lift up to 50 lbs, squat, sit, stand, walk, and reach daily as needed.
Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive in a high-speed setting.
Team Player: Work effectively in both team and independent settings.
Basic PC Knowledge: Basic computer skills are required.
Versatility: Perform various job functions within the warehouse department.
Adherence to Protocol: Follow procedures, best practices, and report unsafe or unprofessional behavior.
Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
