SUMMARY: Paints parts and mixes paints for the parts on the line; maintains equipment as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Looks at paperwork for paint exposures to properly paint the product. Prepares the parts to be painted. Paints parts as they move down the assembly line.

NONESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Loads and unloads parts on the line. Cleans out paint pots. Cleans the booths and lines. Performs maintenance and rebuilds paint equipment as neededQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED): and one to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:

Body shop and painting experience is helpful. Knowledge of using spray paints and experience in mixing paints helpful. Ability to analyze and problem-solve required.
