Activities Assistant - Senior Living We are seeking for a reliable, fun and outgoing Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team at a large senior living community in East Tucson. Come join a team of dedicated, smart, and caring professionals as they work together to care for our seniors and provide them the lifestyle they deserve. This position is responsible for a welcoming, fun, lively bistro Monday-Friday 10am-1pm. You'll be serving our residents various food items in addition to running daily activities in the lobby. The right candidate will welcome and encourage all residents and guests to to participate in activities and join in the social atmosphere that is Broadway Proper! What we offer

Job Description Life Enrichment Assistants are responsible for facilitating the activities for both independent and assisted living residents. This involves everything from leading exercise classes and sing-alongs to brain power activities, sports and art classes and reading. Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure and be a self-starter. Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the activity programs of this community
• Observe resident attendance, mood, behavior, and degree of involvement so that facility activities and resident progress are evaluated
• Involve the resident/family in planning activity programs when possible

Qualifications

• Must be flexible, dependable, work well under pressure and be a self-starter
• Must be friendly, personable and outgoing!
• Food Handlers Permit
• Able to move at least 50 pounds, including tables and chair on a regular basis
