Position Type: Part-Time

Schedule:

• Set Shift: Sundays, 7:30 AM – 12:30 PM
• Additional Shifts: As needed for special events and gatherings

Position Overview:
EGS Security Solutions is seeking highly professional, trained, and dependable Armed Security Officers to protect church facilities, congregations, staff, and visitors. This role focuses on maintaining a visible, vigilant presence to deter threats, respond to incidents, and uphold the peaceful environment churches expect during services and special events.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a visible armed security presence during Sunday services and scheduled church events.
• Monitor access points and parking areas for suspicious activity.
• Assist church leadership with emergency response and crisis management, if needed.
• Conduct regular foot patrols of the facility and grounds.
• Enforce site-specific security protocols and de-escalate conflicts professionally.
• Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with supervisors and church staff.
• Respond rapidly and appropriately to security, safety, or medical emergencies.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement when required.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid state armed security license and carry permit.
• Prior experience in church security, law enforcement, military, or executive protection strongly preferred.
• Strong situational awareness and crisis response skills.
• Excellent verbal communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Physically capable of standing and patrolling for extended periods.
• Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality.

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly rate based on experience and qualifications.
• Additional hours available for events and special assignments.
