Position Description
Work Schedule: Flexi, Irregular
Work Location: Anatomic Pathology, Faculty Office Tower
To provide assistance in the performance of tissue examination through advanced technical knowledge in gross room, micro-dissection lab and autopsy. To act as the department liaison with nursing units,families, physicians and outside clients.
Position Requirements
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Biological Science or a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
License, Certification And/Or Registration
Currently credentialed with Pathologists' Assistant (PA) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) preferred. Embalmer's license desirable.
