**Job Type:** Regular **Time Type:** Part time **Work Shift:** Day (United States of America) **FLSA Status:** Non-Exempt **When you join the growing BILH team, you're not just taking a job, you're making a difference in people's lives.** PHLEBOTOMIST/MOBILE PHLEBOTOMIST **Job Description:** **Duties/Responsibilities** + Computer operation as relevant to patient analysis, result reporting, patient demographics. + Procurement of patient specimens for analysis. + Inventory record keeping as directed. + Bench maintenance as described in Blood-borne Pathogen Standard Manual. + Dispensation of patient results. + Train new employees. + Mobile phlebotomy, nursing home, and on-call as directed. + Process specimens that are being sent to reference laboratories. + Patient registration, receptionist duties, specimen collection and processing at various laboratories on & offsite drawing stations. _It is understood that this is a summary of key job functions and does not include every detail of the job that may reasonably be required._ **Education/Experience Required** + High School Diploma + Graduate from an approved phlebotomy course or one year phlebotomy experience. **Physical/Environmental Requirements** This job requires frequent bending, carrying, pulling, pushing, reaching, standing, stooping, walking and lifting over 10 lbs. There will be occasional need for climbing stairs, lifting in excess of 50 - 100 lbs and sitting. Constant use of hearing, sight and speech. Frequent use of smell and touch. Frequent keyboard and telephone use.
