Principal Civil Engineering Project Manager

A leading engineering firm in Riverside, California seeks an experienced Principal Project Engineer to lead high-impact infrastructure and development projects. Essential Responsibilities:

• Direct and oversee multiple civil engineering projects from conception through completion
• Lead and mentor technical design teams, fostering professional development
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful delivery
• Develop and maintain client relationships while securing new business opportunities
• Oversee preparation of engineering plans, specifications, and construction documents
• Coordinate with regulatory agencies and stakeholders for project approvals
• Ensure technical excellence and quality control throughout project lifecycle

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• California PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months
• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
• Proven track record managing complex infrastructure projects
• Expert knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and engineering software
• Strong understanding of California regulations and building codes
• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities
