Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. NBC News Digital Video Productions is looking for a seasoned and creative journalist to join our short-form video team.
This role centers on producing compelling news content tailored for social platforms, with a strong emphasis on vertical video formats like TikTok, Instagram, and the NBC News app, as well as other emerging platforms. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of current events, both domestic and international, and a passion for innovative storytelling. Success in this position requires agility in a fast-paced newsroom, a collaborative spirit, and a sharp editorial instinct for identifying and enhancing key news moments through engaging visual narratives.
This role is based in New York and represented by the News Guild – CWA.

Salary range: $93,000 - $110,000
