Acadian Ambulance has a full time opening for Regional Coordinator. The Regional Coordinator provides leadership and oversight for designated Austin, Dallas, and San Antonio NEMSA sites.This position ensures consistent quality in EMS education programs, effective instructor performance, and successful student outcomes across multiple locations.
The coordinator manages daily operations, staffing, and compliance with NEMSA standards while supporting the Manager and Director of NEMSA in meeting organizational goals.

Supervise and support instructors across assigned NEMSA sites.
Oversee day-to-day site operations and address site-specific issues promptly.
Monitor staffing pipelines and implement plans to support growth in all EMS training programs.
Audit instructional processes and student files for compliance and accuracy.
Review and approve course completion paperwork for EMS students.
Ensure adherence to NEMSA policies, procedures, and curriculum standards.
Prepare and submit regular site reports to the Director of NEMSA.
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for instructors.
Manage adjunct instructor coverage and backup teaching needs when required.
Conduct performance appraisals and career conversations for instructors.
Identify regional staffing needs and recommend solutions to maintain productive operations.
Maintain all required certifications and credentials.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of NEMSA.
Qualifications:
Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current EMS Instructor certification (or ability to obtain within six months).
Current BLS Instructor certification (or ability to obtain within six months).
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Experience managing educational or training programs preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
Knowledge of EMS staffing and training trends.
Must be willing and able to travel regularly between assigned sites.
