Job Description

Location: Long Beach, CA
Shift: Day Shift, 3x12 Hours (11:00 AM - 11:00 PM)

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality care in the Emergency Department.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to manage patient care.
• Document patient information accurately using EPIC.
• Handle weekend shifts (every other weekend required).

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of ER experience in large academic settings.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, and PALS.
• License: Active California RN License (must be in hand).
• Additional: First-time travelers accepted with required experience; locals accepted at a lower rate.

Additional Requirements:

• Pre-approved RTO (max 5 days) at time of submission.
• COVID-19 vaccine not required, but flu vaccine is mandatory (medical/religious exemptions accepted).
• Compliance: 1 recent reference and no Nursys hits.

Benefits

Compensation:

• $63/hour.
• Overtime: Applies after 12 hours/day and 60 hours/week.
• Holiday Pay: Applicable for specific holidays as per facility policy.
