Job Title: Repair Technician
Location: Salt Lake City, Ut
Duration: 12 Months
Position Summary:
Responsible for repairing, refurbishing, and troubleshooting infusion pumps and other medical devices. Performs complaint investigations, documents repair activities, and ensures all work meets quality and regulatory standards. May train new employees and support improvement projects.
Key Duties:
Repair, rework, and upgrade medical devices.
Troubleshoot returned products to find root cause issues.
Perform product complaint investigations and document findings in Oracle.
Follow cGMP and quality procedures at all times.
Support process improvements and special projects.
Maintain a clean, safe work area.
May travel occasionally for onsite repairs (less than 25%).
Skills & Qualifications:
Hands-on repair experience with electronic/mechanical equipment (e.g., PCBs, circuit boards, appliances).
Proficient with tools such as soldering irons, multimeters, and oscilloscopes.
Ability to read schematics and perform component-level troubleshooting.
Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of cGMP and quality systems preferred.
Education & Experience:
High School diploma or GED required; A.S. in a technical field preferred.
1 3 years' experience in electronics repair, manufacturing, or service environment.
Physical Requirements:
Manual dexterity and coordination for small device repairs.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
