R&D Partners is seeking to hire a Research Associate III in South San Francisco, CA .
Your main responsibilities as a Research Associate III :
Provide viral vector core services, which include core facility management, lentiviral library production, Adeno-associated virus (AAV) production, viral vector QC and analytics.
Independently collect, analyze, interpret and present data.
Maintain virus inventory and registry using informatics platforms such as the Benchling or Signal system.
Assist with viral vector technology development and its in vitro and in vivo applications.
What we are looking for in a Research Associate III :
BS/MS degree in Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Virology, Biochemistry, Genetics, or a related discipline with 3+ years of laboratory research experience.
Proficient in mammalian cell culture and general molecular biology techniques such as transient plasmid transfection, PCR techniques (qPCR, RT-PCR, ddPCR and dPCR) and Western blot.
Working experiences with lentivirus or AAV production and application, CRISPR technology for genome editing are highly desirable.
Knowledge and/or experiences with flow cytometer operations, electronic notebook, biochemistry and protein engineering are also a plus.
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, analytical, highly organized, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
