AnthroMed Education is currently hiring a social worker to join our team and support one of our amazing charter school partners in Washington, DC. The vacancy is immediate and will last the remainder of the 24-25 school year with the opportunity to renew. Position Title: School Social Worker

Location: Washington, DC

Compensation & Benefits:

Pay Range : $63,910 - $81,720 (based on qualifications and experience).

School Social Worker Duties:

• Develop, write, and implement IEP goals for counseling services to students
• Implement individualized plans to address identified needs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and other school staff to create a supportive school environment
• Act as liaison between the school, families, and community to ensure students receive necessary services
• Provide immediate support and intervention in crisis situations
• Conduct workshops and training sessions for students, parents, and staff on topics related to social skills and child development
• Maintain accurate records of student interactions and progress

Social Worker Qualifications:

• Previous school-based and/or pediatric social work experience is preferred
• Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in Social Work 
• Must have LICSW
• District of Columbia Government Department of Health Social Work License
• District of Columbia Certification as a School Social Worker
