Position Summary
Provides ingredient research and regulatory affairs with health and nutrition international markets. Assists product managers with scientific support for new and current products and all accompanying product-related information.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Provides ingredient and regulatory research
•Collaborates with International product consultants to develop new products
•Research associated regulations for Health & Nutrition products for international markets
•Conducts library and internet research on health and nutritional products/ingredients
•Interacts with in-country consultants on technical and regulatory issues as we develop new markets
•Reviews and prepares labels for nutritional supplements and foods
•Edits marketing materials and factual documents pertaining to products
•Writes scientific articles and blogs for corporate publications
•Reviews new product submissions and make recommendations
•Provides safety and efficacy assessments on products
•Creates product-related presentations/discussions
•Reviews and researches data bases for regulations in the countries
•Complies with company policies and procedures.
•Performs other duties as needed.
This is a NON-LABORATORY position.

•Product Management, International Country teams, Executive Management, Quality Control, Legal, Purchasing and Creative Services.
Education and Experience
•Bachelor’s degree in the biological sciences (Biology, Chemistry), Nutritional Science or equivalent disciplines
•Three to five years of experience in health and nutrition product development, ingredient research, label or regulatory review, online research
•Or a combination of equivalent experience, education, and training.
Skills
•Strong online research skills
•International regulatory experience a plus
•Proficient use of MS Office Products
•Excellent verbal and writing skills
•Detail-oriented, excellent team skills and organizational skills
