Job Description

The EVS Attendant reports to the EVS Supervisor and is responsible for the upkeep and cleaning of the facilities to include hotel and casino gaming areas, bathrooms and offices.

Position Responsibilities

• Clean and service all public and administrative areas, including restaurants, and any other assigned areas including vacuuming, dusting, bathroom cleaning, glass and mirror cleaning, emptying trash and other tasks necessary.
• Replenishes supplies where needed, e.g. in guest bathrooms, bathroom tissue, tissues, soap, etc. and other supply closets located throughout the property
• Promptly reports any maintenance or guest needs to the EVS Supervisor
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned

Essential Functions

• Exposure to casino related environmental factors including but not limited to secondhand smoke, excessive noise, and stress related to servicing customers in a high pressure & fast paced environment

• Must be able to work holidays and weekends, as well as flexible shifts and/or unusual hours

• Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the Casino/Hotel areas

Requirements

• Mixing cleaning chemicals and detergents using ladders to clean lower windows

• Must be able to stand for an entire shift and be able to move throughout the casino/hotel areas

• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts/hours

• Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds

• The ability to effectively communicate in English
