Job Skills/Requirements SCOPE: As a Uniform Security Officer at DK Security, you will be responsible for the security and safety of our client's property and personnel. You will know all site-specific policies and procedures, and implement emergency response activities as appropriate, while providing superior customer service.
SCHEDULE: - 1st shift
- Mondays / Tuesday 8:30AM-5PM
- Every other Wednesdays 8:30AM-5PM
COMPENSATION: - Rate of Pay: $17.00/hour

LOCATION: Ann Arbor, MI
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Will serve as a Front Desk agent, ensuring all visitors to the building are properly checked in and escorted through the building while providing outstanding customer service.
- Will provide a visual deterrence against any criminal or otherwise unauthorized activity.
- Conduct hourly foot patrol of interior and exterior to check entrances, doors, and windows are locked and secured.
- Ensure unauthorized persons do not enter restricted areas.
- Look for suspicious persons, packages and activities.
- May provide first aid or other medical treatment in emergency situations.
- Must follow site specific post guidelines.
- Will report potentially hazardous conditions and items in need of repair, when applicable.
- Document daily activities and incident reports.
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS: - Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
- Must have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- May NOT have any felony convictions and must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Must be able to successfully pass a drug test at the time of hire and randomly thereafter.
- Must present a friendly, positive, and professional image.
- Must be willing to become CPR/1st Aide/AED Certified.
- Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, including walking long distances, and possibly up and down stairs
- Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Must have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
- Less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
- Less than 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
- No other major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
