Join us as we digitally connect the world and shape the future. **The Role** The Senior Buyer role involves procurement tasks for U.S. Government contracts, including creating purchase orders, negotiating terms, and maintaining records. The position requires collaboration with various departments and adherence to standards. **Work Location** This position has been designated as fully remote in the U.S. **The Main Responsibilities** - **Job Responsibilities** : Responsible for procurement actions such as requests for Quotes and Proposals, evaluations, negotiating terms and pricing, and administering and managing purchase orders. Familiarity with FAR and DFARS, Federal contract and SBA requirements. Compliance with internal Methods and Procedures. Proactively manage workload to ensure expected SLAs are met. - **Collaboration** : Requires close collaboration with program management, engineering, sales, accounting, and contracts to ensure supply chain efficiency. - **Cost Management** : Performs purchasing tasks to help the organization remain within budget and find cost-saving alternatives. - **Qualifications** : experience in Federal Government buying. - **Experience** : Experience with FAR, DFARS, CPSR, TINA, and federal subcontracting is necessary. **What We Look For in a Candidate** **Competencies:** Efficiently processes extensive amounts of detailed data with exceptional accuracy. Exhibits proficiency in quality assurance methodologies, techniques and standards. **Vendor Management:** Expertise in vendor management techniques, and processes; ability to maximize value and service quality from vendors while controlling costs and mitigating risks throughout the contract life cycle. Handles routine supplier issues; escalates complex problems. Explores alternative vendors or suppliers; assists in supplier selection. **Compensation** This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. Location Based Pay Ranges: $66,375 - $88,500 in these states: AL, AR, AZ, FL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, ME, MO, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, OH, OK, PA, SC, SD, TN, UT, VT, WI, WV, and WY. $69,694 - $92,925 in these states: CO, HI, MI, MN, NC, NH, NV, OR, and RI. $73,013 - $97,350 in these states: AK, CA, CT, DC, DE, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, TX, VA, and WA.
