Job Description

We are a large growing HVAC contractor in Louisiana that works on many of Louisiana’s biggest and best HVAC projects. This is a full-time position with great benefits. We are planning to hire Louisiana’s best and brightest Sheet Metal Estimator’s in the near future.

Responsibilities:

• Attend meetings.
• Creating job folders.
• Identify, reviews and resolve issues.
• Manage, generate, develop, review, cost analysis, and logging: Take-offs, bids, pricing, material, equipment, documents, plans, and labor.
• Work closely with and coordinate with Owners, Project Managers, Spoolers, Foreman, Architects, Engineers, Design Consultants, Field Personnel, Estimators, and Vendors to insure work is completed accurately and on time.

Requirements:

• Local
• Stable work history.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• 5+ years of experience as Sheet Metal Estimator.
• Prior hands-on field experience in HVAC ductwork/Sheet Metal experience.
• Strong knowledge in Quickpen/Accubid, BlueBeam, and Microsoft Excel., and ability to read and interpret documents (Take-offs, blueprints, estimating techniques, safety rules, etc).
