Job Title: Structural Fitter/Welder
Pay Rate: $23–$24/hour (Based on Experience)
Hours: Monday–Thursday (10-hour shifts) or Monday–Friday (8-hour shifts)

Position Overview
We are currently hiring a skilled Structural Fitter/Welder for a reputable fabrication facility in Tulsa. This position requires hands-on experience with I-beam assembly, blueprint reading, and welding procedures compliant with AWS D1.1 standards. Candidates must be comfortable with crane and forklift operations and capable of passing a weld test to code.
Weld Test Requirements
• Fluxcore vision test on beam and pipe
• Uphill, overhead, and flat welds on beam
• Flat weld on pipe
• 3G double bevel test on 1" plate (butted) – test will be x-rayed per code
• Must carbon arc back, then fill and cap using the same 3G position
Job Requirements
• 2–3 years of relevant welding and fitting experience
• Ability to pass an open-book written test for Structural Fitters
• Proficient working with I-beam sizes ranging from 6x25 to 12x50
• Familiarity with finished units measuring 8’x20’ up to 16’x50’
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and AWS D1.1 procedures
• Must be able to operate overhead cranes and forklifts
