Job Description

We are working with a well established CPA firm in the Destin area that is looking to add experienced Tax Accountants to their team. The ideal candidates will have previous experience in public accounting and must be a CPA. Position details as follows:

Responsibilities:

• Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns
• Communicate with the IRS and state tax departments
• Make adjusting entries and complete trial balance in order to prepare business returns
• Perform accounting/bookkeeping functions when needed
• Perform excellent client service and maintain client relationships by producing quality work
• Provide excellent, accurate work product

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years' public accounting experience as a tax accountant
• Must possess outstanding work ethic
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Outstanding attention to detail & accuracy
• BS degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
• MTAX degree is a plus
• Must be a CPA
