Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
· Attend, guard and patrol assigned areas.
· Responsible for the protection of displays, buildings, equipment, facilities, and grounds in area of assignment.
· Maintain order in the area of assignment and assist in the detection, ejection and/or apprehension of miscreants, undesirable and disorderly persons.
· Maintain occupant safety as per NYC Certificate of Fitness for Public Assembly Safety Personnel (F-03).
· Must be able to work daytime, evenings and holidays.
Qualifications:
· Candidates must possess and maintain a valid New York State Driver’s License.
· Candidates must possess and maintain a valid New York State Security Guard License from the Division of Licensing Services.
· Must have a minimum of two years full time experience in security or related work.
· In possession of a High School Diploma or G.E.D.
· Candidates must possess and maintain a valid Indoor Place of Assembly F-03 Certificate of Fitness or be able to successfully receive the required Certificate of Fitness within the first 90 days of employment.Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work in all types of weather.
