Position Purpose: Perform daily food preparation and service to include: Continental items, Pastries and Coffee preparation. Duties also include the sale of merchandise, and cleanliness of The Coffee Shop area Essential Functions:

• Service and preparation of all food, beverage and restocking of merchandise items that are sold in The Coffee Shop. Proper handling of checks and use of Micros.
• Maintaining the appearance of The Coffee Shop by cleaning and straightening the Market.

Supportive Functions:

• Perform general cleaning tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Abide by all state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are being followed.
• Maintain an open line of communication between guests, management and line employees.

Experience: Prior food and beverage experience is preferred, but not required. Other: Due to the seasonal and business nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules and hours to reflect the staffing needs of the hotel.
