Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated TIG Welder to perform welding operations on aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel components. The ideal candidate will work with blueprints and weld specifications, apply strong attention to detail, and produce high-quality welds in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate TIG welding equipment on various metals (aluminum, stainless, mild steel)
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols to ensure correct welds
Perform full‐penetration and fillet welds according to specification
Inspect welds for quality and adherence to standards; perform and document NDT or visual inspections as required
Assist in fit‐up, grinding, and preparation of parts prior to welding
Maintain welding equipment, consumables, and work area cleanliness
Collaborate with team members, meet deadlines, and adapt to schedule changes or production demands
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven TIG welding experience
Experience with aluminum and/or stainless steel fabrication and welding
Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
Familiarity with weld quality inspection and documentation
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability
Team player, positive and high-energy mindset, able to handle evolving priorities
Effective communication skills and willingness to follow safety protocols
