Job Description

Position Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Travel TIG Welder to join our team and support various projects across the country. This role requires extensive travel and hands-on experience with TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and other specialty metals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and thrives in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform TIG welding operations on a variety of metals including stainless steel and aluminum.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols.
• Conduct inspections to ensure weld quality and compliance with specifications.
• Travel to different job sites nationwide to support fabrication and installation projects.
• Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper safety procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to meet deadlines and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of TIG welding experience.
• Ability to pass weld tests (AWS/ASME standards preferred).
• Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time.
• Strong understanding of welding safety and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and in team settings.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel with short notice.

Preferred Qualifications:

• TIG welding certifications (AWS, ASME).
• Experience in pipe welding, sanitary welding, or aerospace-grade welding.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification.
• Previous experience in a travel-based role.
