Job Description

Job Summary: Mission Community Hospital is seeking an experienced Treatment RN to join our Panorama City, California-based team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing professional and compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing treatment in a hospital setting. Your primary duties include assessing treatment plans, preparing and administering medications, and monitoring and reporting changes in patient condition. Responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate patient conditions by taking comprehensive health histories
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to doctor's orders
• Monitor and document patient status, include vital signs, intake, and output, symptoms, and reactions to medications and treatments
• Provide physical care and emotional support to patients and their families
• Comply with all safety regulations and standards
• Contribute to team efforts to deliver high-quality patient care

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing school (preferred)
• Current state RN licensure in good standing
• At least two years of experience in a hospital behavioral health setting
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong knowledge of psychiatric nursing requirements and regulations
• Computer literacy
• Ability to work autonomously, interact with coworkers effectively, and collaborate to provide high-quality patient care
