We're Looking for a UX Designer Who Gets It

At WarmHub, we're building something that's never been built before: the first scalable trust infrastructure platform. And we need a UX designer who can turn complexity into experiences that feel simple and intuitive. 

The Challenge (And Why It Matters)   

Trust is broken on the internet. While the world has revolutionized how knowledge spreads (Google, Wikipedia) and how commerce flows (Amazon, Stripe), trust remains stuck in the stone age—reliant on PDFs, scattered documents, and manual processes.

WarmHub is here to change that.

We're building infrastructure where trust can be shared, reused, and composed, just like code on GitHub. But here's the thing: our platform deals with complex data models, assertion trees, and concepts that simply didn't exist five years ago.

Our users may be brilliant AI researchers, cybersecurity experts, materials scientists, or software engineers; but they shouldn't need a PhD in our architecture to unlock the value from what we've built.

That's where you come in!

What We're Looking For

You Understand Complexity (So Users Don't Have To)   

• You can take our data models of assertions, evidence, claims, and trust repositories; and make them feel natural
• You've worked with technical users who appreciate sophistication, but demand simplicity 
• You know the difference between "powerful" and "complicated" (and you choose powerful)

You Speak Human   

Our users span from computational neuroscientists to DevOps engineers to biomedical researchers. You'll need to:

• Understand how different technical communities think and work
• Design experiences that feel native to each user type
• Apply behavioral economics principles to guide users toward better decisions

You're Driven by Impact, Not Applause

• You measure success by how much value users extract, not how many design awards you win
• You collaborate closely with Product and Engineering (we're a small team where everyone's voice matters)
• You're comfortable being nimble and moving fast. Startup life isn't for everyone, but it might be perfect for you.

You Know Your Craft (And When to Break the Rules)   

• You're current on design principles and trends, but you're not limited by them
• You understand front-end frameworks, like Nuxt and Vue, enough to have productive conversations with our engineers
• You can prototype, iterate, and ship, not just pixel-push

Our AI Philosophy (Because This Matters)   

We use AI extensively at WarmHub and provide our people with access to the best tools we can. However, we believe AI does some things exceptionally well (data processing, pattern recognition, translation) and some things poorly (understanding human context, building genuine connections), and we believe in letting AI do what AI does best, so that humans can do what humans do best.
