  • LOCATION: Far North Dallas - Addison
  • SCHEDULE : Part Time - Overnight | Saturday 11:00 pm - 7:00 am and Thursday 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
  • SALARY: $17

*Must have a valid driver's license*

ABOUT THE ROLE  

Assists residents, visitors, vendors, contractors and employees by providing services necessary to ensure a friendly, efficient and safe environment, and performs all other duties as directed by the supervisor. Helps maintain the cleanliness, safety and maintenance of the building and the Common Areas, both inside and outside. Devotes majority of his/her time and focus to welcoming residents and guests in the front lobby/door. He/she is the “face” of the staff, therefore he/she must present himself/herself in the most professional and polished manner possible. He/she will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including customer service, administrative, and minor janitorial responsibilities. In addition, he/she will provide valet service to residents and guests.

 

WHAT YOU'LL DO 

  • Meets, greets, announces and verifies authorization of all residents, visitors, contractors and employees, directing them to the appropriate area of the building and offers any assistance required
  • Answers all incoming telephone calls using proper telephone etiquette
  • Receives messages and immediately distributes to the intended party
  • Directs and coordinates all deliveries
  • Maintains and monitors all security and service logs
  • Monitors and enforces safety procedures
  • Maintains secure storage and control of all keys issued to him/her
  • Assists with maintaining the cleanliness standards of the Common Areas
  • Maintains a clean, neat and professional appearance
  • Wears the proper uniform while on duty
  • Maintains a neat, organized, clean and safe work environment
  • Understands the building safety procedures and their individual role in maintaining a safe environment
  • Understands the building emergency procedures and their role in an emergency situation
  • Reports any accident, maintenance issue, safety or security concern immediately to the supervisor
  • Understands and follows employee guidelines
  • Clean driver’s record (no DWI, points or convictions for moving violations)
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check
  • Maintains a cordial and respectful relationship with the residents, visitors, contractors, vendors and fellow employees

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED 

  • Physical demands include the ability to lift 30-50lbs.
  • Standing, sitting, and walking.
  • Ability to work at a personal computer, as well as talking on the phone, for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to quickly and easily navigate the building as required to meet job functions.
  • Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms and respond quickly and appropriately.
  • Ability to work extended/flexible hours, weekends, and holidays if required by coverage necessary for the building,
  • Ability to respond to emergencies promptly.
  • Communicate, receive and exchange ideas and information using both spoken and written word.
