Our client, a popular and fast-paced restaurant located in the heart of St. Julians , is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Waiters/Waitresses to join their front-of-house team. The ideal candidates will be passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering an outstanding dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional and friendly table service, ensuring each guest feels welcomed and well-cared-for.
Greet customers, present menus, and offer knowledgeable recommendations on dishes, drinks, and specials.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and communicate them clearly to the kitchen and bar teams.
Serve dishes and drinks promptly, following proper service etiquette and presentation standards.
Anticipate guest needs, respond to requests efficiently, and handle any concerns with care and professionalism.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations throughout service.
Assist in training and mentoring new team members and junior waitstaff.
Process payments, issue receipts, and handle transactions accurately.
Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure seamless coordination and guest satisfaction.
Stay up to date with menu items, ingredients, and allergens to assist guests in making informed choices.
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations consistently.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role within a busy restaurant or hospitality setting preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A friendly, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
Strong attention to detail and customer service focus.
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Fluency in English is required; additional languages are an asset.
