Night Shift Shipping & Receiving Supervisor - Warehouse

Local Warehouse / Transportation Company is seeking a detail oriented, organized, and dependable Night Shift Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to monitor the staging, shipping, receiving, and accuracy of pre-ordered and special-order products in their warehouse. Hours are Sunday – Thursday 4:00pm to 2:00am

Overview of Responsibilities:

· Manage and monitor the productivity of 24+ employees

· Assign employees to evening shift duties

· Check all returns and create a return sheet

· Receive product and enter purchase orders

· Assist all employees with questions and assist with locating and picking of products

· Ensure product shipping and receiving accuracy and all timelines are met

· Physically check all product setups including special orders and pre-orders

· Ensure loaders placed all pallets on the proper trucks in a timely manner; Assist the loading team on the dock as needed

Qualifications:

·2+ years experience working with product inventory, shipping, receiving, and forklift operation in a warehouse environment. Preferably in a refrigerated warehouse

·2+ years supervisory experience highly preferred

· Ability to read, interpret, and verify product orders

· Must be willing and able to learn new software programs - Microsoft Great Plains and Warehouse Management System, Procat

· Ability to work in a refrigerated warehouse and at times in the freezer storage area

· Ability to focus on positive customer service and a constructive productive work environment

· Strong organizational, trouble shooting, and problem-solving abilities

· Clear verbal and written communication skills

• Must be in good physical shape with the ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50lbs unassisted throughout the shift
• Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, climb, twist, and lift continuously throughout the shift
• A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required

Schedule / Benefits Overview:

• Hourly position based on related experience level
• Hours are Sunday – Thursday 4:00pm to 2:00am
