Delicious Cakes! in Addison, TX is looking for one experienced Wedding Planner to join our team as a Wedding cake sales consultant. We are located on 14819 Inwood Rd. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, punctual, and reliable.

Full Time/Part Time Position Available

1 year Wedding Planning / Wedding cake sales experience needed

Hourly pay + Commission

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Consultation: Meet with customers to discuss cake designs, preferences, and special requests. 
• Design and Decoration: Help customers visualize their cake ideas, sketch designs, and potentially decorate cakes if needed. 
• Sales and Order Management: Take orders, manage customer inquiries, and process sales transactions. 
• Product Knowledge: Be knowledgeable about different cake flavors, decorations, and ingredients to assist customers. 
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive experience for all customers. 
• Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized display area, restock shelves, and ensure freshness of products. 
• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and notify management when supplies are low. 
• Make and Manage customer/lead phone calls: Making Sales call.
• Assist in Duties assigned.

Skills and Qualifications:

• High energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for our products and core values
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers. 
• Sales and Customer Service Experience: Prior experience in sales or customer service roles, particularly in the food or bakery industry, is often preferred. 
• Cake Design and Decoration Knowledge: A basic understanding of cake design principles and techniques can be beneficial. 
• Attention to Detail: Ability to pay close attention to detail in cake design and decoration. 
• Time Management and Organization: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. 
• Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team: Work independently and collaborate with other bakery staff. 
• Microsoft word, excel, and other Computer proficiency
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Basic Calculation, Math Knowledge.
• Must have driver's license and be able to get to work on time.

Desired Qualification:

• Previous experience in wedding cake sales, wedding planning is preferred
• Bilingual preferred- English is a must, Spanish is a plus
• Creativity and interest in custom cakes and other related products
