Position OverviewSeeking an experienced X-Ray Technician to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures in a clinical setting. The role involves preparing patients, operating radiologic equipment, ensuring safety standards, and supporting overall imaging workflow.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and position patients for radiologic procedures while ensuring comfort and cooperation.
Operate radiographic equipment safely and effectively to produce diagnostic images.
Apply radiation safety protocols, including shielding and exposure minimization.
Maintain image quality by following established standards and adjusting equipment as necessary.
Document all procedures accurately in patient and department records.
Perform routine equipment maintenance and coordinate repairs when needed.
Monitor and maintain imaging supply inventory.
Follow infection control policies and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Stay current with required continuing education and maintain technical competency.
Contribute to team operations and assist with other duties as assigned.
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology .
New York State Radiologic Technologist License (L.R.T.)
ARRT Certification (Radiography)
