Job Description

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Appraisal Coordinator to join our growing mortgage team. In this role, you will manage and oversee the entire appraisal process, ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of reports to support the mortgage underwriting process. You’ll be the key liaison between loan officers, appraisers, and underwriters, coordinating appointments, tracking progress, and resolving issues to keep the loan pipeline moving efficiently. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and experienced in the mortgage industry with a strong understanding of appraisal guidelines and compliance standards. Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage all appraisal orders and transfers in a timely and accurate manner.
• Schedule and track pest inspections, water quality tests, and fire inspections in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Process and maintain documentation related to Certificates of Eligibility.
• Provide administrative and operational support to senior loan processors.
• Ensure all tasks are completed in accordance with company policies and industry standards.
• Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal team members to facilitate the smooth processing of loan files.

Qualifications:

• Experience in mortgage operations, preferably with a focus on appraisal coordination or processing, is preferred.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple files and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficient in mortgage software systems (e.g., Loadasoft, Google Sheets, Outlook) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills to effectively work with appraisers, loan officers, and underwriters.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in document tracking, scheduling, and data entry.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with team members across departments.
