Job Description

Waialae Country Club is a private membership club, which provides its members with a championship golf course, dining services, health/recreational facilities and hosts the PGA Tour's Sony Open in Hawaii. Waialae Country Club is recognized as a Platinum Club of America, Honorable Mention Platinum Club of the World and is designated as a Distinguished Club with ELITE status by BoardRoom Magazine.

Position: Bartender
Status: Full-Time (30 hours per week); Part-Time (20-29 hours per week)
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports to: Director of Food & Beverage/Food & Beverage Manager

 
Key Responsibilities: 

• Mixes, prepares and serves a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Provides excellent service by engaging with members/guests and ensuring their needs are met.
• Maintains a clean and organized bar area; and adheres to health and safety standards. 

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a front bar bartender/server. 
• Must have basic knowledge of all forms of alcohol, wine and beverages. 
• Must be a team player with a positive attitude. 
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and lift a full beer keg for rotation. 
• Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Starting Pay Range: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour depending on experience. 

Waialae Country Club has a no-tipping policy; however, this position is eligible to earn a service charge.
