We're searching for a talented and driven Bookkeeper to join our fast-growing company and play a critical role in our finance and accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity to join the finance and accounting team in a rapidly growing private company within the legal lead generation industry. You will have regular exposure to senior management, can make an immediate impact, grow your responsibilities, and nurture continued development of your skillsets.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage the accounts receivable processes, including cash applications, resolving inquiries, and validating client balances, while overseeing the automated billing process
  • Oversee accounts payable, ensuring accurate invoice approvals, disbursements, and vendor communications.
  • Support internal and external audits/reviews with comprehensive documentation and insights.
  • Collaborate with the technology team to enhance financial systems, processes, and controls.
  • Research technical accounting standards and ensure compliance with US GAAP.
  • Lead initiatives to identify and address process improvements and operational efficiencies and deploy best practices.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: At least 2+ years in accounting/bookkeeping (public, industry, or a mix).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in US GAAP, Excel, Word, and QuickBooks Online; experience with other financial tools is a plus.
  • Analytical thinker with exceptional problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Energetic self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Adaptable and excited to learn new systems and tools.
