Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to take charge of essential accounting operations for a growing company in Haltom City, Texas. This role is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail who excels in managing full cycle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing activities. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to the financial stability and organization of a $5M revenue business while working independently in a supportive environment. Responsibilities: - Oversee all aspects of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Manage the complete billing cycle, including invoice preparation, reconciliation, and processing. - Input and maintain financial data in QuickBooks, ensuring proper coding and documentation. - Process purchase orders in alignment with company procedures and track them effectively. - Reconcile financial accounts and statements to maintain up-to-date records. - Organize and maintain detailed documentation to support accurate financial reporting. - Assist with month-end closing processes and ensure timely completion of tasks. - Identify opportunities to enhance accounting workflows and implement improvements. - Provide financial support for a growing business with approximately $5M in annual revenue. - Collaborate with team members to maintain consistent and streamlined accounting operations. Requirements - Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks. - Strong understanding of full cycle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and billing. - Proficiency in processing purchase orders and performing detailed data entry tasks. - High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of accounting. - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and maintain productivity. - Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. - Experience in the construction or related industries is preferred but not mandatory. - Familiarity with month-end closing processes and financial reconciliation.
